United Women in Faith - Purpose

We are a community of women whose purpose is to know God, experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

The organized unit of the United Women in Faith shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

The Wilmington-Tewksbury United Women in Faith (UWIF) includes members from the Wilmington United Methodist Church and the Tewksbury United Methodist Church. Many of our members meet in small groups and call circles which meet on a monthly basis. Our larger meetings, where all women join together, are held on the first Wednesday of the month in October, November, December, February, April, May, and June. We take the summer off to refresh and relax.
